Ever since I can remember, I was fascinated by the stories that were shared in my mother's kitchen. When I finally started to cook on my own, I discovered how much joy I get from watching others enjoy my creations just as I did my mom's. Today, I’m excited to share those delicious recipes with you along with stories that I hope resonate with you and perhaps give you a taste of teachable moments that the stages of life have to offer.

As a Mexican immigrant, I now understand the value of what cooking a meal really means. To me, la vida biene en Etapas (life comes in stages). When starting this blog, I realized that I wanted to bring to my life my two passions: cooking and writing. I also wanted to honor my origins and I found that the best way to share anything is with a meal. I am excited to share and give a home to stories that are so close to my heart.
